Lingcod are the King Of The Rockpile when it comes to the dominant species on shallow structure off the Oregon Coast. Lingcod are extremely aggressive and frequently exceed 30 lbs or more.

We catch Lingcod while bottom fishing with jigs on rock piles. Nothing is more fun than watching a fishermans face when they hook into one of these monsters after catching a couple small rock fish.

The Lingcod is considered a white meated fish, however many of the fish we catch have a light blue color to the meat. They are considered excellent table fare and make some of the best fish tacos you have ever had.
